St Peter's - Here to serve

As Christians, we believe that Jesus Christ came to share the love of God with all of us, and to save us from our sins.   We seek to show this through our love of our neighbours, and through serving the community, which is why our sign says "here to serve".

We continually develop new ways in which we can serve the needs of the community, at all ages and stages. For example, we have run "parenting" courses, money management through the CAP (Christians against Poverty) programme, and offer drop-in social activity for new mothers or older, lonely people, and so-on. We also exist to worship God together, to learn more about our faith and teach others, and of course, to enjoy God's creation as well as helping to preserve it through conservation and waste saving! Information about all of these things is to be found in the Church, or on our social media and news publications and in the magazine.
